Privacy Policy
The Techstruction Company (“Techstruction”, “we”, “us”) builds secure AI gateways that connect an assistant to the systems a business already uses. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do not do. It covers this website and the software we operate for our clients.
We do not sell personal information. We do not run advertising. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels or third-party trackers on this site.
Information we collect
When you contact us
The contact form on this site collects the name, email address, subject and message you type into it. That is the only information the form asks for. When you submit it, the message is delivered to us as a notification and as an email. It is not written to a database on this website.
Automatically, when you visit
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| A short-lived session cookie | Set only when you submit the contact form, to enforce a one-minute limit between submissions. It carries no identifier about you and expires when you close your browser. |
| Server and network logs, including IP address, request time, page requested and user agent | Security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults. Kept for a short period and then discarded. |
This site is served through Cloudflare, which acts as a security and delivery layer in front of it. Cloudflare processes connection data, including your IP address, and may set its own cookies for security purposes. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
When you engage us for work
In the course of an engagement we may receive business contact details, information about your systems, and credentials or access tokens needed to build and operate what you have asked us to build. We treat access credentials as confidential, store them only where the work requires, and hand them back or destroy them when the engagement ends or when you ask.
Google user data
Where you connect a Google account to software we operate for you, we access only the data needed for the feature you have turned on, and only with your explicit consent through Google’s own sign-in screen.
| Scope we request | Why we request it |
|---|---|
| Google Calendar (read and write) | To display your calendar alongside your other business systems, and to create or update events you ask the assistant to schedule. |
How we handle that data:
- Use. Only to provide the feature you enabled. Nothing else.
- Storage. Calendar entries are mirrored into your own instance so the interface can show them, on infrastructure we operate for you. They are not pooled with other customers’ data.
- Sharing. We do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to run the feature at your direction, or where the law requires.
- Advertising. Never used for advertising, and never used to build advertising profiles.
- Humans reading it. No person reads your Google data except with your explicit permission for a specific support request, where it is required for security, or where the law requires.
- Machine learning. We do not use your Google data to train generalised artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
- Deletion. Disconnect the account at any time, in the product or from your Google account permissions page. On disconnection we delete the mirrored copy. You can also email us and we will confirm deletion.
Techstruction’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other application adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
- To answer you when you get in touch.
- To deliver, operate and support work you have engaged us to do.
- To keep our systems secure and to investigate abuse.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not use your information to build profiles for marketing, and we do not send marketing email to people who simply contacted us.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that make this site and our work function, and only to the extent needed. Today those are our hosting and network layer, our email provider, and the messaging service that delivers contact-form notifications to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer you and to maintain a record of the conversation, and are deleted on request. Engagement records are kept for the life of the engagement and for as long as tax and contract law requires afterwards. Logs are short-lived.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Administrative systems are reachable only over a private network and require authentication. Credentials are stored with restricted permissions and are not committed to source control. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise, but we treat client access as the most sensitive thing we hold.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that law. Email us and we will act on your request.
Children
This site and our services are meant for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting an active engagement will be communicated directly.
